please implement a transfer rate graph which shows the actual transfer rate at any time fro mthe beginning to the end. this way you can easily see the overall speed as well as smallest errors/bad areas on a cdr.

Isn't it that a retry attempt to read something also shows information about the quality? (Can't I compare the overall quality of a cd by checking the total transfer rate?) I think indirectly this shows you the cd-rom had to process data to recover it. And thus showing the quality of the media. Overall speed is meaningful if data can be compared with previous records.
