[Recovery] Recover files from CD based on CRC (or other ECC code) |

CRC can be used for error checking and also for error correction.
My idea is create a CRC code (or other kind of ECC code) for every file in CD that you wish ECC (Error Checking and Correction).
When you get a damage file from a damaged CD, you can apply a CRC to correct this error generating the original file.
My Final Graduation Work was about the use of CRC for detection and correction burst errors in files.

I cannot read on cd everyfiles PDF .
When i want copy it, the response is crc (ciclic redundance mistake). How May i do?

Cant we use software to step up the characters until it passes the crc check for data recovery from cd-roms?
